Marissa Lanier, MS/CCC-SLP earned her Bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University and her Master’s degree from Appalachian State University.

She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed to practice in the state of North Carolina.

Marissa has pursued extensive continuing education and additional training in areas such as Articulation and Phonological Disorders, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), Autism Spectrum Disorder, Speech Fluency, Expressive and Receptive Language Therapy, Natural Language Acquisition for Gestalt Language Processors, and Early Intervention.

She has a special interest in working with pediatric clients, particularly in treating articulation and phonological disorders. Marissa is dedicated to helping children become confident and effective communicators. She also specializes in play-based intervention and social/pragmatic language therapy, using natural and engaging approaches to support language development.

Marissa is deeply passionate about child development and finds great joy in helping children express themselves and connect with others.
