Brianne Edwards, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of North Carolina and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2009 and her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from California State University at Northridge in 2014.
Brianne has been working with pediatric clients since 2009 and has been part of the Interact team since July 2014. She has held her North Carolina state license since 2015.
Her professional development includes training and certifications in Natural Language Acquisition (for Gestalt Language Processors), Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), autism, articulation and phonological disorders, fluency, language therapy, child-led therapy, TalkTools oral placement therapy, and early intervention.
Brianne has a special interest in working with children on articulation and phonological disorders and is passionate about using play-based, child-centered approaches to support language development and learning.
During her time away from work, Brianne loves spending time with her family and friends. She also loves gardening, being outside with her boys, reading and writing.
