With a passion for supporting individuals in reaching their full potential, Hannah Dempsey is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in pediatric care. Hannah holds both a Bachelor’s degree (2015) and a Master’s degree (2017) in Speech-Language Pathology. She has a strong foundation in child development and communication disorders, enhanced by specialized training and certifications in various therapeutic approaches.
Hannah is trained in the Gestalt Language Processor (GLP) model, with a particular focus on Natural Language Acquisition for children who process language in this unique way. She has extensive experience in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), having worked with several AAC systems, including TouchChat, Proloquo2Go, and TDsnap, to help children express themselves effectively.
Her practice is centered around early intervention, play-based therapy, and child-led approaches. Hannah specializes in helping children with articulation/phonological delays, fluency issues, and supporting AAC users to expand and enhance their communication. She is dedicated to using evidence-based strategies to create individualized, engaging therapy plans that foster growth in language development, communication, and social interaction.
