Renee Bomar M.S., CCC-SLP, is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of North Carolina and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She earned her bachelor’s degree from James Madison University and her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Longwood University in 2011.
Renee is a certified VitalStim provider and is trained in the McNeill Dysphagia Therapy Program (MDTP). She has also completed training in the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS). Her professional development includes coursework in clinician supervision, ethics, stuttering, trauma-informed care, interprofessional collaboration, clinical phonetics, apraxia screening, and goal development.
Renee has a strong clinical interest in childhood apraxia of speech, articulation and phonological disorders, and supporting pragmatic language development in neurodivergent individuals. She is passionate about providing individualized, evidence-based care to support communication across all ages and abilities.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, caring for her houseplants and spending quality time with her husband and pets.
